How to order

1. Online Payment
We use PayPal to process all online sales. Once you have completed your order you will receive an order confirmation by email from PayPal and a confirmation receipt from Art Vandelay.

Availability - We try to ensure www.artvandelay.com is as up to date as possible, but cannot guarantee that a particular product will always be available when shown. If we cannot supply you with a particular product, we will refund you within three to four working days, and notify you by e-mail to this effect.

Payment - We accept credit or debit cards, currently: Visa/Mastercard/Delta/Switch/Solo/Electron/Amex
Purchases can only be made by the cardholder and can only be delivered to the billing address of the card, in-line with current fraud prevention procedures. Products are only available while stocks last. If a product is not available, we will inform you prior to processing the transaction.

Please be aware some of our products are extremely limited in their availability, and as such will be sold on a first come first served basis. Our customer service team will be happy to advise you of a suitable alternative where possible.

Delivery - Orders are dispatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Charges are calculated at the checkout.

Returns - In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with your purchase, it may be returned within seven days of receipt of goods, as long as it is returned in its original state with valid proof of purchase.

Refunds - Refunds if applicable, will be processed by the same method the original purchase was made.

Terms and Conditions

This page states the terms and conditions under which you use the www.artvandelay.com website. Any use of this website means that you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions then you are not authorised to use this website.

1. Validity
These terms of trade govern the sale and supply of goods by Art Vandelay to you. Art Vandelay may amend these terms from time to time. You shall be notified of any amendments by a notice on the Art Vandelay site.

2. Art Vandelay's contract with you
No contract shall exist between you and Art Vandelay until Art Vandelay has sent you an email confirming receipt and acceptance of your order. Art Vandelay is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the goods, or the order appearing on the Art Vandelay site or for unavailability (see 3. below). Art Vandelay reserves the right to place restrictions on the volume of any goods ordered. By placing an order for products with age restrictions you declare that you are of legal age to purchase those products.

3. Pricing and Availability
The prices and availability of the goods are specified on the Art Vandelay site. Such information is subject to change without notice. Each price, as displayed, is inclusive of VAT (at the appropriate UK rate). There shall be an additional charge for delivery, the amount of which shall vary according to the delivery method that you choose. In the unlikely event that the goods are unavailable, or that Art Vandelay needs to vary the price due to supplier price increases, tax changes or site errors for example, following confirmation of your order Art Vandelay shall send you a notification by email and allow you the opportunity to cancel your order if Art Vandelay has not done so itself.

4. Delivery of Goods
Art Vandelay shall ship the goods ordered to the delivery address, which you supply. All delivery times quoted on the Art Vandelay site are estimates only based on availability, normal processing and delivery time. Art Vandelay may deliver items in an order separately but shall charge you for postage and packing on the first delivery only. Title to the goods will pass to you on payment in full. Risk will pass to you on delivery. Art Vandelay is not responsible for parcels damaged during shipping. Art Vandelay is NOT responsible for international duties or taxes. All international duties and taxes in relationship to your order are the responsibility of the purchaser.

5. Art Vandelay Warranties
Art Vandelay is unable to provide any warranties in relation to the goods provided over and above its statutory obligation to provide goods of satisfactory quality in accordance with the Sale of Goods Act 1979 as amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1994.

6. Limited Liability
Except in relation to liability for death or personal injury Art Vandelay’s liability for negligence shall be limited to the total value of the transaction. Art Vandelay shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses even if Art Vandelay has previously been advised of the likelihood of such losses.


7. Art Vandelay guarantee and returns policy

Art Vandelay endeavour to ensure that all goods are received to you in perfect condition. If for any reason you are unhappy with any or all of the goods received, you can return any of them to Art Vandelay for an exchange or refund, providing each is returned to Art Vandelay returns processing centre within seven days of receipt of goods. Items returned will be checked for damags and you shall be responsible for the cost of returning goods for refund or exchange, except in cases of faulty, damaged or wrongly supplied goods. Art Vandelay recommends that you use registered post or recorded delivery when returning goods. Art Vandelay shall use reasonable efforts to replace damaged or defective goods but if replacement is not possible, or if an order is cancelled for any other reason under these Terms, Art Vandelay’s only obligation is to refund the full amount paid by you. This does not affect your statutory rights.

8. Your right to cancel
Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. If you wish to cancel please wrap the item for which you are canceling the contract securely, including the packing slip received with the order. Complete the return reason as Other and write in Contract Cancelled. Send the item back to reach us within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. If we do not receive the item back from you we may arrange for collection of the item from you at your cost.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction
Contracts between you and Art Vandelay shall be governed by English Law and all disputes shall be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

10. Invalidity of Terms and Conditions
If for any reason part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions shall not be affected.

11. Third party links
In an attempt to provide increased value to our visitors, Art Vandelay may link to sites operated by third parties. However, even if the third party is affiliated with Art Vandelay, Art Vandelay has no control over these linked sites, all of which have separate privacy and data collection practices, independent of Art Vandelay. These linked sites are only for your convenience and therefore you access them at your own risk.

Art Vandelay is committed to protecting the privacy of those using our site and the confidentiality of the personal information which our customers provide us with. We use the information we collect to provide services and to ensure that your order is processed smoothly. Beyond that we only use personal information if volunteered by you. Art Vandelay acknowledges that it is bound by the Data Protection Act 1998 and that it will not sell personal information or share personal information with third parties unless these are involved to fulfill your order.Our employees and associated companies are obliged by us to respect confidentiality.
